About Me

Creative expression has always been my way of making sense of the world. As a licensed mental health professional trained in expressive arts therapies, my work centers the transformative power of creativity, awe, and wonder — as pathways to healing, connection, and meaningful change.

Born in Singapore, raised in South Africa, and currently located on the west coast of the United States, I bring a cross-cultural lens and deep curiosity to my work. I am a psychotherapist trainer, trauma-informed consultant, performer, and expressive arts facilitator, weaving together grounded clinical experience with imagination and play.

Over the years, I have worked across diverse international settings — including refugee and immigrant care, rehabilitation, youth development, restorative justice, trauma-informed capacity building, and community mental health — supporting people across the lifespan.

For seven years, I served as Vice President of Program Development and Training at a nonprofit specializing in arts-based approaches to trauma care and psychosocial support. I have taught in Antioch University’s Creative Arts program, collaborate with the Crisis and Trauma Resource Institute and the ACHIEVE Centre for Leadership in the U.S., and partner with a global nonprofit to support resilience and capacity building initiatives for civil society organizations and human rights defenders in exile.

My greatest teachers are my children, the wisdom of the natural world, deep questions and lived experience, and the extraordinary humans and beings with whom I have had the privilege to sit with, create alongside, and learn from.
